AEC's Products division has a long history of developing cutting-edge products for understanding and enhancing building performance. AEC’s current software products include REM/Design™ and REM/Rate™ for residential energy analysis and home energy rating. REM/Rate™ (RESNET® Accredited) is the most widely used home energy rating software in the US.
AEC is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado with additional locations in San Francisco; Nashville, TN; Fairfax, VA; and Springfield, MO.

Through our affiliation with other members of the UTC family of companies, such as NORESCO and Dome-Tech, AEC maintains the capability to meet a variety of customer needs beyond our core service offerings. These include energy savings performance contracting, turnkey central plant implementation, plant operation, energy procurement and other services.
