Marketing / Administrative Assistant — Boulder, Colorado

General Characteristics:
This individual is responsible for proposal preparation and coordination of print and web-based marketing and business development efforts for the Sustainable Design Assistance Team, under the direction of the Team Leader. This position will involve drafting and revision of marketing materials, ensuring regular updating of all materials takes place; and various administrative tasks (other word-processing, filing, research) as assigned. The position requires a person comfortable with multi-tasking, good at communicating with others, and experienced in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Accuracy and cheerfulness are prized. This position is full-time.
Direction Received:
Jointly supervised by SDA Team Leader and Office Administrator. If tasks conflict, individual will ask for prioritization from Office Administrator.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Responses to Requests for Qualification (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs) from clients or prospective clients. Assembly of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), with major input from team members. Drafting of new Project Description sheets. Revision and updating of various print marketing documents and web site news / marketing updates. Coordination of trade show efforts for the SDA Business Area Team.

Education:
College graduate. Courses or classwork in engineering, architecture, or graphic design useful.
