  • SPOT Wins Two LFI Innovation Awards at the 2008 LightFair (5/30/08)   —  At the 2008 LightFair® International trade show and conference for architectural and commercial lighting, the Sensor Placement + Optimization Tool, or SPOT™, Version 4.0 software won the highest honor for the Most Innovative Product of the Year. The software tool, developed by Architectural Energy Corporation (AEC), assists a designer in quantifying the electric lighting and annual daylighting characteristics and energy use of a given space.
  • AEC Sponsors 2008 ENERGY STAR Summit (5/20/08)   —  Architectural Energy Corporation is proud to be a sponsor of the 2008 ENERGY STAR Summit. The third annual ENERGY STAR Summit brings together the best minds in the home building industry to discuss and educate home builders, contractors, architects, manufacturers, code officials, remodeling professionals, utilities, students and educators about the cutting edge designs and techniques for the construction of high performance homes.
  • VisualDOE Training Seminar - June 12 and 13, 2008 in Boulder, CO (4/16/08)   —  Architectural Energy Corporation (AEC) is pleased to announce a VisualDOE training seminar on June 12 and 13, 2008 at AEC's office - 2540 Frontier Avenue, Suite 201, Boulder, Colorado 80301. Each day of the workshop will begin at 8:30 AM and end at 5:30 PM.
  • EPA Names Colorado Springs Utilities a Partner of the Year (3/7/08)   —  The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized Colorado Springs Utilities with a 2008 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year award for its outstanding contributions to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The award recognizes excellence in delivering information and services to its customers to increase energy efficiency. Colorado Springs Utilities, a long standing ENERGY STAR partner, is being honored for their work to boost market share of ENERGY STAR qualified new homes through comprehensive outreach, education, and marketing programs.
  • First Gold with LEED® for Homes in Colorado (1/4/08)   —  A Stapleton multi-family housing project administered by Architectural Energy Corporation (AEC) and E-Star Colorado, and developed by Northeast Denver Housing Association, attained the state's first Gold Certification under the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC) pilot LEED® for Homes program.
  • AEC's Ellen Franconi Speaking at the GreenBuild Conference (11/5/07)   —  Energy Analysis Group leader, Ellen Franconi, will be speaking at the U.S. Green Building Council's 2007 GreenBuild Conference, which will be taking place in Chicago, Illinois.
