Rooftop Unit Diagnostics
Project Goals
The goal of this project is to develop a specific product that will ultimately lead to widespread application of diagnostic technologies for packaged air conditioning equipment.
Project Objectives
The objective of this project is to develop a product that provides diagnostic and performance information for rooftop packaged air conditioners. The product will allow for condition-based maintenance, remote energy efficiency monitoring and immediate equipment failure alarms. The product will be introduced in California. It will be unique because no other product provides on-line performance monitoring with enough detail for well-informed remote management. |
