REM/Rate™ ( Version 14.2 Available )

REM/Rate™ software is used by organizations which operate home energy rating systems (HERS). HERS rates the energy efficiency of homes for identifying cost-effective improvements and providing energy-efficient mortgages. Climate data is available for cities and towns throughout North America.

REM/Design™ ( Version 14.2 Unavailable )

User-friendly, yet sophisticated, REM/Design™ software calculates heating, cooling, domestic hot water, lighting and appliance loads, consumption, and costs based on a description of the home's design and construction features as well as local climate and energy cost data. Additionally, REM/Design™ is DOE-approved for Weatherization Assistance Programs in all states.

VisualDOE

VisualDOE is a powerful, yet easy-to-use "front end" to DOE2.1E, the industry standard building energy simulation program.

SPOT™

The Sensor Placement and Orientation Tool, or SPOT™ software, is intended to assist a designer quantify the existing or intended electric lighting and annual daylighting performance to establish the optimal photosensor placement for the space relative to annual performance and annual energy savings.
