Important MicroDataLogger™ Announcement

We have important news to share with you! Architectural Energy Corporation has partnered with a well-known manufacturer of portable data acquisition products to design and build our next generation data logger product. This new product has all the basic capabilities of the MicroDataLogger™ Model 202 plus many of the enhanced features and functionality that our customers have requested over the years. We are excited about this relationship and will be able to tell you more about the innovative data logger product in the coming months.

However, the MicroDataLogger™ product line is being phased out. While interest in the product remains strong, some 10-year old components are obsolete and chip manufacturers have stopped making them. As a result, we are forced to end production of the current MicroDataLogger™ product.

Although we anticipate having many types of sensors, modules, and accessories through 2005, our expectation that the MicroDataLogger™ Model 202 would last through the first quarter of 2005 proved incorrect. Inventory has been depleted unexpectedly by a number of very large orders in December 2004. As a result, the Model 202 MicroDataLogger™ unit is no longer available for purchase.

We had hoped to have the new data logger product available by now, but the development effort is taking longer than planned. We regret this delay and the problems it may cause for those of you that need to purchase new loggers in 2005. As soon as we have a solid delivery date for the new product, we will provide complete specifications and pricing. We think that you will be pleased when you see the new standard in high-performance, low-cost data loggers!

For the foreseeable future, we will continue to provide technical support, repair loggers, and replace batteries. If your equipment is under warranty, we will honor the warranty. Loggers, sensors, modules, and other accessories will continue to be available for rental.
