License & Download REM/Rate™

License REM/Rate™ v14.2

To purchase a REM/Rate™ software license, please email us or call (303) 459-7504.

REM/Rate™ is available to be licensed annually to RESNET^® accredited HERS providers. The license agreement grants providers the use of the REM/Rate™ software, as many copies of the software as the HERS providers needs, free upgrades, and by specific license agreement, the right to sublicense to independent, certified HERS raters working within their program. In exchange, the HERS providers pay an annual license fee, and a rating/use fee for each home certified.  Total sub-license annual license fees received by licensee in excess of the annual license fee paid to AEC shall be shared 50% AEC and 50% Licensee.  

Note: At this time licensing of REM/Rate™ is restricted to RESNET^® accredited HERS providers. However, there are many HERS providers throughout the country who can sublicense REM/Rate™ to raters working in their program. For more information on becoming an accredited HERS provider, or to find an existing HERS provider who can help you become a certified HERS rater and sublicense REM/Rate™ to you, visit RESNET^®.

Download REM/Rate™ v14.2

REM/Rate™ v14.2 starts off with a 90-day trial mode. The trial mode has all the features of a registered version of REM/Rate™, except that none of the reports can be printed. After 90 days, the program needs to be registered. Warnings will be generated as the software gets close to expiring. Any time during the trial period you may activate the software by purchasing a license.

Instructions:

1. Click this button to download the REM/Rate™ v14.2 installer to your desktop.
   
2. When the download is done, if running Windows XP, double-click the REMRateInstaller14_2.exe file.  For newer Operating Systems, right-click the file and select "Run as administrator...". (You must have administrative permissions to run the installer.)

Update to REM/Rate™ v14.2.

This will update your existing installation by replacing some files.  It is not a full install.

1. Click this button to download the REM/Rate™ v14.2 updater to your desktop.  
     
2. When the download is done, if running Windows XP, double-click the REMRateUpdate14_2.exe file.  For newer Operating Systems, right-click the file and select "Run as administrator...". (You must have administrative permissions to run the installer.)
