CodeComp ™
CodeComp 4.0 is a tool developed for the State of Oregon to demonstrate compliance with the Simplified Trade-Off Approach (STA) specified in code. CodeComp may be required if a building exceeds the prescriptive window-to-exterior wall area allowance or if reduced insulation levels are desired for any of the building envelope components. Because of its added complexity, CodeComp should only be used if the building cannot be made to comply with the Prescriptive Compliance path. Visit the
Oregon Department of Energy website
for more information.
