For the Coyote Ridge Elementary School, the school district directed AEC to provide commissioning services on building systems, including HVAC, DDC controls, electrical service and distribution, fire safety, intrusion detection, and kitchen equipment. AEC successfully created a cooperative commissioning team from the staff, designers, and contractors. Complete functional testing ensured that all systems were ready for the August 1999 opening. Short-term diagnostic monitoring provided dynamic tuning of controls for efficient operation. |
