AEC's Building Energy Evaluation Services Team assists building owners and managers to optimize the energy efficiency and system performance of their buildings through one or more of the following services:
- Energy Audits
Both preliminary (scoping) and detailed investment-grade energy audits to identify energy conservation measures and to quantify energy and cost savings, using whole-building energy analysis simulations and spreadsheet analysis tools.
- Retro-commissioning
Functional performance testing, short-term diagnostic monitoring, and quantifying energy and cost savings associated with system tune-ups and energy conservation measures.
- Measurement and Verification of Savings
Creation of M&V Plans following the IPMVP Guidelines, and performing follow-up M&V services including site inspections, short-term monitoring, calculation review, and verified savings calculations. Click

- LEED® Related Services
DOE-2 energy modeling, commissioning and measurement and verification services in support of LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design™) Certification.
- Building Energy Modeling
Building energy analysis, with state-of-the-art simulation tools, to develop building performance baselines and to undertake end-use load studies. Analysis and selection of various HVAC system options, and determination of accurate system sizing.
- Market Transformation Services and Documentation of Utility Programs
Marketing, engineering and program management services in support of public good energy efficiency programs and evaluation of market transformation activities.
