LEED® Consulting and Certification Services

Architectural Energy Corporation (AEC) has provided sustainable design consulting services since 1982 and provides the full spectrum of energy, daylighting and sustainable design consulting services. AEC's staff consists of LEED® Accredited Professionals and assists clients to obtain LEED® Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). AEC has used the LEED® rating system as a framework for the energy and environmental design of more than 100 buildings and is currently managing the LEED® Certification process for numerous projects.

Energy Modeling
AEC energy analysts are experts in confirming compliance with the energy efficiency prerequsite (EA prereq. 1) and in calculating the energy savings (EA Credit 1) using the LEED® Energy Saving Calculation Modeling Protocol. AEC energy analysts use state-of-the-art building energy analysis simmulation tools to project annual energy consumtion and costs, and energy savings compared to the LEED-required reference building. AEC energy engineers are experts in preparing and implementing a Measurement and Verification Plan, as defined in LEED® Credit EA 5.
