Training Agenda
Every training will consist of two days.
Day One is a four hour session: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Day Two is a six hour session: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
(With an hour lunch break - lunch will be provided)
Day One will be an overview on these key topics:
Introduction to Sustainability, USGBC, and LEED®.
The Benefits of LEED® Certification.
Market Transformation.
Cost of LEED®.
Registration and Certification Process.
LEED® Resources and Documentation.
Energy Modeling.
LEED® Standards and Definitions.
Day Two will be a thorough overview of each credit.
A practice exam will be given to take home at the end of the day.
AEC will provide powerpoint handouts, which will cover presentation material on both days. In Addition, example calculations and other handouts will be provided.

| Preparation for Training
It is required that each attendee puchase the LEED-NC Reference Guide before the training from the U.S. Green Building Council. To purchase a Reference Guide please visit the
USGBC Website
A Reference Guide will not be provided by AEC.
A reading syllabus will be emailed to attendees after registration is confirmed and payment has been received. It is highly recommended attendees follow reading syllabus guidelines six weeks before training.
