[ Image: LEED® ctlm lecture-small.jpg ]
AEC provides training services to educate design and construction industry professionals about sustainable design principles and construction practices embodied in the LEED® rating system, as well as prepare individuals to take the LEED® accredited professional examination.

This training provides an overview of the sustainable building movement, recent trends, and specific opportunities for incorporating LEED® into a firm's design, and construction practices. In addition, the training reviews specific experience in dealing with the United States Green Building Council on issues relating to design and construction practices, LEED® documentation, and the official LEED® certification process. Finally, the training presents local and national sustainable design resources, as well as detailed resources for the LEED® documentation, certification, and accreditation requirements.

The goal of LEED® training is to educate attendees about the sustainable design principles and construction practices embodied in the LEED® rating system, familiarize attendees with programmatic requirements regarding the LEED® certification process, specifically those responsibilities related to the design teams, and prepare individuals for LEED® professional accreditation. Finally the instructor establishes LEED® Accreditation study and test date goals for all participants.
