Energy Design Resources (EDR)

An online compilation of tools for energy efficiency, sustainable design, and construction practices. It provides information for professionals involved in the planning, design, construction, operations, and funding of commercial buildings of all types. The website includes case studies, design briefs and guidelines, software tools, and training information.

Since 1998, Architectural Energy Corporation professionals have been involved with EDR, working with Southern California Edison, Pacific Gas & Electric, and San Diego Gas & Electric companies to develop design briefs, case studies, and software tools. In addition, Architectural Energy Corporation maintains the section of the Energy Design Resources website that focuses on LEED ® resources, and is currently working with California University level-educators on developing energy efficiency and sustainable design curriculum material under EDR.
