Lighting design greatly influences the physical and emotional well-being of building occupants. In addition, a building's lighting system is a dominant consumer of electrical energy and a major source of internal heat. AEC assists clients to design high quality, energy efficient lighting systems that utilize natural and electric sources as well as integrate electric lighting controls. AEC uses a host of electric lighting software programs including Radiance to inform electric lighting design and optimize the luminous environment for quality and energy efficiency.
