| Who
is eligible to participate and what does it cost? Building owners
and managers in the Southern California Edison service territory with
buildings greater than 100,000 square feet are eligible to participate.
The engineering services are provided at no cost to participants who
quickly make the recommended improvements to their buildings.
What do participants
have to do? Participants must provide the services of a qualified
technician to assist the engineers with the functional tests of
the HVAC equipment and the installation of the data acquisition
equipment. Also, participants should be able to help provide a cost
estimate for the recommended improvements and implement a mutally
agreed upon package of measures within four to six weeks of receiving
the recommendations.
How do I
qualify for the no-cost report? Participants receive the no-cost
services and report if they agree to implement a mutally agreed
upon package of measures within the designated period.
How
do I get started? To begin, interested parties are encouraged
to review the below resources (survey form, utility release form,
and participant agreement). Then, contact Architectural
Energy Corporation to begin the process of lowering your energy
consumption and costs, and improving how your building operates.
